La Mort des Patriarches est un projet au long cours sur la bactérie Xylella Fastidiosa et la menace qu'elle fait peser sur les oliviers millénaires des Pouilles, dans le sud de l'Italie, surnommés les Patriarches. À travers des chercheurs, des agriculteurs et des communautés locales, ce travail explore les conséquences environnementales, économiques et sociales d'une crise toujours en cours. Les images présentées sont issues d'une recherche débutée en 2017 et toujours en développement.

Death of Patriarchs

Death of Patriarchs is a long-term project on Xylella Fastidiosa and the threat it poses to Puglia's ancient olive trees, in the south of Italy, known as the Patriarchs. Through researchers, farmers and local communities, the work explores the environmental, economic and social consequences of a crisis still ongoing. The images presented are a selection from an ongoing research, begun in 2017 and open to new developments.
